Iridium Satellite is the only provider of truly global satellite voice and data solutions with complete coverage of the earth (including oceans, airways and Polar Regions). Iridium delivers essential communications services to and from remote areas where no other form of communication is available. The Iridium constellation consists of 66 low-earth orbiting (LEO), cross-linked satellites and has multiple in-orbit spares.

Iridium Satellite Data Hardware

i50	i50 Description TThe i50 made by B&B Certified Tracking Solution in Canada offers "black box" GPS tracking with four RS-232 ports which can be connected to a range of peripheral devices including intrinsically safe lone worker devices and engine computer interface. The i50 uses the same motherboard as the iMTD-2000 and also the same firmware. The i50 will work with the Skyport Iridium Modem, SkyHawk Globalstar Modem and GSM-GPRS and CDMA terrestrial Modems with automatic switching between networks.


MDT	MDT Description The MDT-iMDT-2000 is based on DOS 6 and offers extensive network compatibility. When a customer requires two-way text messaging between Dispatch Desk and the field work-force, the choice is either the low-cost MDT or a Windows Laptop/Tablet running our Mobius Software program . The MDT will interface with many modems including optional internal GSM-GPRS modem. When dual network operation is selected, the MDT will automatically switch between networks. A QWERTY serial Keyboard option is available. The iMDT-2000-GPRS also includes connection for voice communications.


Iridium SBD-9601	Iridium SBD-9601 Description The Iridium SBD-9601 is an OEM two-way transceiver operating over the Iridium 66 satellites constellation. The SBD "Short Burst Data" service offered by Iridium is designed for short messages and GPS tracking. It is a Small satellite modem designed for embedded applications. Easily integrates into a wide variety of applications that require remote access. Ideal for monitoring, alarms, and tracking. Includes RS 232 serial inteface. Low latency for delivery.


Quake Q9612	Quake Q9612 Description The Q9612 satellite transceiver combines the global coverage of the Iridium network with the low latency of the Iridium Short Burst Data (SBD) Services in a low cost package This new generation product is designed to optimize 2-way datalinks, supporting mobile-originated messages up to 205 bytes and mobile-terminated messages up to 135 bytes.
